Hi Vivian :-) I can relate to your issues! I keep telling my husband can you SEE that I can't breath..he's like NO..exactly my point..which is why it gets ignored..I cry so often over it for the same reason..not being taken seriously.. I was wondering do you have allergies? that can trigger it big time. I'm basically allergic to my HOUSE it's awful. we have mold and everyday I can't breath and my dr doesn't want to give me a nebulizer! I'm ready to change Dr's she just blames my dog which I admit can be part of it but if we keep her hair short it's not so bad. The mold from hurricanes recently did me in(have a sinus infection too..ugh) frustrating isn't it!?? I totally agree with you of how scary too..as it happens panic sets in and it gets worse. My plan might be a new allergist and have been told to see a pulmonologist..hope my input helps and doesn't just sound like complaining..I see where your coming from :-) WELCOME :-)
Hi, my name is Shirley and I was diagnosed with asthma about five years ago after having never had it before. I am 44 years old. I developed symptoms shortly after I quit smoking. My alternative medicine doc told me once why this happened but I didn't quite understand it. What I do understand is that it is very scary and frustrating, esp for someone who loves to play tennis and be active. Does anyone out there know how to control exercise-induced asthma without using your rescue inhaler? Any other tips on how to reduce the amount of steroids one has to take to maintain an asthma free life? THank you.
